Our in-vivo models are developed on pigs, which have a circulatory system, size and weight comparable to humans. This approach provides results that are much closer to those expected in humans than when testing on other animals.

Both the skin and respiratory system of pigs resemble those of humans much more closely than those of rodents, which are commonly used in pre-clinical trials. Therefore, pigs are an ideal model for studying mucosal immune responses and evaluating alternative vaccine delivery methods, such as oral and dermal administration routes.

Our in-house team of veterinary pathologists and experts in the histology department can help identify and evaluate the effects of substances on various organs. This service enables us to perform certain elements otherwise conducted in toxicology studies in an animal model which is much closer to humans.
